This second episode was fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to more in the coming months. I really like what you did with the new characters, Sniperwheel and Splat especially. Asterob was a little iffy for me, but I'm sure I'll get used to him. When you mentioned the three new characters during development, I was looking forward to seeing a certain drama-impaired someone, but what we got in exchange was more than a fair trade. I also found it quite interesting how you set up the mansion as the tournament grounds. That should prove to be quite interesting later in the series. Anyways, keep up the good work Kirb. You're doing a fantastic job!
This first episode is looking like the beginning of an amazing reboot. It's hard to find anything seriously wrong with it. The characters are as great as ever. Nailock one again has risen to my favourite. The voice actors really did a fantastic job. I'm also glad you're sticking to the original plot, though I found it just a little odd that Alpha's intro was taken out. The theme song was just as good as the rest, a perfect "cherry on top".
Unfortunately, in order to make this a proper review, I must also give some criticisms. So far, the little dialogue that GC has been given seems quite unnatural, and a tad bit forced. He doesn't strike me as the type who would roleplay his character like Nailock does. Also, BlingBling -- excuse me, "Doubling" -- struck me as a little strange. His personality seems to be a little off, but I think it could develop into something great. My last little nitpick would have to be the presence of Grounder, T-Bones, and Thunder. It's not necessarily a problem, but it just strikes me as a little out of place, since they used to be Season 2 characters.
Well, to some up, I'm really looking forward to further episodes. The original series' cancellation was definitely disappointing, but this has been well worth the wait. I hope you didn't take any of my criticisms personally, and keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed! Stay tuned to see where GC goes, you'll understand more about him as time goes on. The appearance of the others was kind of just a little cameo that I thought would be fun.
I have to say, after all this time, I'm not impressed. This just wasn't as good as the others. I don't mind the rushed ending. I know that's not your fault. The rest of it, though. The writing seems a little sub-par, and Link doesn't act like a buffoon as much as he used to. This episode definitely looked nice, but I can't say much else.
There's some nasty glitch going on. I'm playing the game for the second time now, and it's not giving me any medals, and it won't let me got to the shop. What gives?
It was nearly flawless... NEARLY. I just found it a little irritating that you fall down from ledges before your endurance goes down completely. Also, for those who want to get the endings fast:
For Hero, just get the zapper... thing, and turn around, collecting all endurance fruits on the way. Don't get the gloves or the boots until you go back. It's faster that way.
For Savage, just get the zapper thing and go back, killing everything on the way. You don't even need the gloves or boots. Just use the guy underground to get up again. Hope that helps!
The costumes at the shaving scene *shudders* are different every time. That's awsome. I can't name them all, but I saw Scout, Megaman, James, Sailor Moon, Optimus Prime, Link, some fox, a mummy, a wizard, a boxer, a pirate, Albino Blacksheep, a caveman, Oscar the Grouch, a vampire(?), a knight, Wolverine, Yatta(?), a punk that says "There's a platypus controlling me, a black formal outfit... Fuck thers's a lot.
The words "It's our recipe" are now burned into my skull...
...But you left out the best line!
"The end has come!"
I always used to think that was so funny, then it stopped. I was looking forward to hearing it again, but oh well...
I'm at a loss for words. It was just so amazing. Watching it start to finish a second time, my opinion of it can only be greater than before. That's how good it was. It's a shame that this is how it ended, but it's completely understandable. Maybe someday, with enough time and the right motivation, TTA season 4 will come to be. If only...
